Krav Maga Classes

The quicker you recognize the threat, the more likely you will prevail.

All Revolution Krav Maga Self Defense classes are taught by instructors with experience in real world defense situations. Students learn situational awareness and practice conflict de-escalation. Our classes address how to deal with verbal confrontations while also teaching ways to defend against a physical attack. By class completion, participants will have repeatedly used their newfound skills to assess danger, set boundaries, and respond effectively to verbal and physical aggression. Students always get the chance to use full-force techniques against a staff instructor donning specially designed protective gear.

Class objectives

  • Respond effectively to verbal and physical aggression (belligerent people)
  • Describe and demonstrate levels of awareness and condition readiness
  • Demonstrate how to set boundaries, and control and maintain the “reactionary gap”
  • Demonstrate defensive strikes against an assailant
  • Describe and demonstrate what to do following an attack

Tweens & Teens Self Defense Classes

Our Teens & Tweens Krav Maga Self Defense program concentrates on confidence, respect, discipline, focus, integrity, a heightened sense of awareness, the ability to diffuse a potentially dangerous situation, anti-bullying principles, and how to defend themselves in the event of an attack or abduction. The Youth Program is a belt-based system that allows each child to have clear, attainable goals with the ultimate reward of a Black Belt. We teach all this while also having fun. Teens and tweens classes generally include kids ages 10 and up, but we will consider younger candidates depending on their interest level, height, and experience.

Adult Self Defense Classes

Our Adult Krav Maga Self Defense Program is designed to challenge adults not only physically but also mentally. With a unique combination of cardio drills and real-world scenarios, our adults will learn to diffuse verbal and physical confrontation. Footwork, cardio, adrenaline drills, and Krav Maga techniques are all a core part of the Revolution Self Defense System. As you progress through the system, you will learn a multitude of different strikes, kicks, and weapons defenses; including knife, bat, stick, and gun. The Adult Program will focus on a belt-based system with clear goals to reach each level.

Do you have Women’s Self Defense classes?

We do sometimes offer separate self defense classes for women, including private classes or group classes. However, for our regular class schedule men and women practice together as part of our Adult Program. There are a couple reasons for this. First of all, we teach the same self-defense principles and skills to men and women. In addition, it is important to practice these maneuvers in a real life scenario. Statistically speaking, it is more likely that a woman would be presented with a male assailant, so a coed training situation is a more effective form of preparation.
